Snapper - Here is a some of the pictures of snapper I have caught just off Ballina

10-06-2009 - Blackhead 1km just off ballina - 5 Squire Snapper and 1 Silver Trevally


15-05-2009 - My First or secoond time offshore fishing - I am hooked - The bonito just really steamed for a small fish


16-06-2009 - A nice cath of snapper and 1 bream - caught in around 14metres of water off Blackhead Ballina NSW


27-05-2009 - A nice squire from reef north of Riodans Shoal between Ballina and Evans Head Northern NSW

Phil here is the pic of that Snapper - he was 4.95 Kg dressed weight - probably about 5.5 Kg total weight - we have since eaten him, and had to cut him in half and cook two sessions in the oven - fed 7 with left overs for the next day. I got this fellow about a 1Km off Blackhead Ballina



Anyone else got some larger snapper picture?

Great fish Dan, nice snapper. Kev will have to put up the 6kg snapper he caught of Ballina.
