This is a clip from a documentary about after life experiences. This clip is a testimony of someone who attempted suicide and had an afterlife experience. Don't take the chance. Hell is a million times worse than whatever you are suffering right now here on earth.

Check out this clip. This movie is super-rare. It's called "Beyond and Back" and came out in the eighties. My mother took me to see it when I was around 12 or so at a small theatre. This clip I will never forget. Do you know that out of all the testimonies in this movie, for some reason I took this one part as truth. I even applied it to a girl who was trying to kill herself and overdosed on a bottle of aspirin. She called me and told me she had just swallowed the whole bottle. Because I believed this part of the movie I told her to go downstairs and tell her parents what she did RIGHT NOW or I would hang up and call the fire dept and the police. She went down and told her parents, they took her to a hospital and she had her stomach pumped and they told her she would have died if she didn't do what I told her to do. God works in incredible ways doesn't He?

One thing I have often wondered, are suicides damned? If a born again believer kills them self will they be with GOD or damned to Hell?

What if they suicide because they're afraid they would sin further..Like in the war time, maybe women who are in prison suicide coz they're afraid they'll be raped and couldn't take the sham.. Just a thought though.....

i attempted suicide by overdose when I was 14-15yrs old. An incredible fear over took me after I had ingested the drugs and I started plummetting into an undescribable darkness that was not just physical. I cried out out for God to save me and awoke, quite dreary, over 36hrs later. My negligent family thought I had just been asleep for a LONG TIME and only my mother was to know of it some years later.
At 16 a teacher showed a christian "life after death" film which helped me understand much of my experience. Strangely, it was not until I was 18, and battled through teenage alcoholism and had a baby, that I gave my life to Christ and completely came to understand the experience.
I have not had the easiest of lives, so people who know me say,and there are many times that the idea of suicide had entered my mind. Yet I know that my life is not my own, it is the Lord's, and he has a plan for me in this world and when it is due time for eternity.
My bad experience reminds me that no matter how hard it gets, suicide IS NOT A VIABLE OPTION. Even after my husband died in December 2007, a desire to die, and be with him, overwhelmed me much of those early grief months. Yet again, I know, my life is not my own, and it is not for me to long to leave this world until I am called to do so by my Father.
Suicide is a RIP OFF. The experience I have had of being held, carried and comforted by my heavenly Father through trials and hard times is unfathomable to the notion of escaping some momentary pain, physical or emotional, by suicide.
Jesus IS the answer!

Very true Josky... I believe that you'll go to Hell no matter what in the case of suicide I'm sorry... I've also attempted but chickened out every time tho... Because our life is not our own by taking it, we have committed murder hence breaking a commandment when we don't even have time to ask for forgiveness...

if someone is saved and they have commited suicide i believe they still go to heaven. If someone kills themselves they may not be mentally well. If they have a mental sickness and die its the same as having any other sickness like cancer and dieng from that. Knowhere in the bible says you go to hell if u commit sicide.

lol, maybe all us saved folk should go hang ourselves then..seriously, we have a job to do and God would not appreciate us organising a mass suicide party, suicide is utterly rejecting Gods greatest creation in the universe!

The truth is that when you commit suicide you are taking your life into your own hands and taking it out of God's hands. It is not something that I think you will go to heaven for. Remember that Jesus is a healer. Nothing is too big for Him so we can't go around making excuses for this kind of stuff especially after the instructions of scripture like giving your burdens to Jesus and taking on His yoke which is light.
