As I have flown for real; FSX has to get as real as it possible can for me. And the best ever add on in the world in my opinion, comes from an Australian team called orbx simulation system: http://fullterrain.com/buynow.html

The level of details is nothing short of phenomenal; I know, I flown it.

As for your beast, I'd go with the new Intel i7 processor. Apparently the ďweakestĒ i7, the i7 920, is better than the monster of the older generation technology , the Intel Core 2 Quad QX9770 Process 3.20GHZ, 12MB CACHE, 1600MHZ FSB, LGA77 which amazingly enough still costs about $2349 compared with Intel i7-920 Core i7 CPU, 2.66 GHz at $369 as of this writing.

Iíd feel very sorry for anyone who does not do their homework and pays over 6 xs for a CPU when they could have gotten a better deal by purchasing ďsmartĒ.

Wow those simulators are getting almost real now - I would like to have a go at some of these simultors flying around with almost real surroundings has its appeal, Thanks for posting this - I am interested - I have no idea where I will find the time - but hopefully i will get a chance to have a go.

I have generally played RTS (real time stategy) games in the past and some first person shooter games as well - I like them in a Lan enviroment - you know - real person on real person or teams of real people, we used to run a few games for team building - a real buzz for the winners.

Thanks from Kev - Forum and Site Admin - Want to know what I am up to these days? See the latest website I am working on - http://www.VintageAntiqueRetro.com - A free Classifieds site for Vintage Antique Retro Collectables :)
